"Pinata Buddy"... (aka Everly's Reign of Terror)...

This post makes me laugh even before I begin to type it out. The title basically says it all. Everly found this wooden dowel SOMEWHERE around our house, I think we used it once for a Primary sharing time activity, ANYWAYS... this thing is almost as tall as she is and she has figured out that she can torture Buddy and hit him with it as well as hit anything around our house and it will make a sound. The first time I saw her do this I was down in the office and she came down the hall with a crazed look in her eye and wildly swinging this stick. It was so funny but she doesn't know how much damage she could cause. Notice the maniacal look in her eyes... This is her roaming the hallway looking for Buddy... much like a gang member would do looking for their next drive-by victim... She spots him under the kitchen table... Buddy of course has seen this stick and knows what she can do with it so he takes off running. He runs behind the chair and Everly sees him and then begins to pursue him... Buddy sees her coming and then runs again this time towards our front door...

Everly again is in hot pursuit all the while laughing like a crazy woman and swinging this stick ALL over the place... the more he runs the more fun she thinks it is...Buddy got cornered by the front door but then decided it was worth a few stick beatings to run past her versus staying stuck by the door so he fled again... I think this time to the top of the couch where she couldn't reach him. She then decides that it would be "fun" to whack her stick on Mommy's antique family heirloom china hutch. Needless to say it makes a cool sound on the glass but not worth being yelled at by Mommy and having your stick taken away.
