Had I known back in the day how many pacifiers one really goes through when raising a "pacifier baby" I would have invested in the Soothie pacifier company. Its just ridiculous. After not finding ANY pacifiers and having a really upset child, I cracked, went out and bought like 6 new ones. I came home, boiled/sterilized them and had them in a bowl cooling on the counter when someone short but with long arms found them on my countertop. She was SO excited. To her it was a trove of treasures and she carried them around the house and made sure we (Dave and I) saw them several times and she was SO HAPPY to hold and carress them.
