I (Abby) decided to take Everly's crib rail off and put up the toddler bed rail (much to Dave's complaint) in an effort to get Everly to be a little more pro-active about getting in and out of bed for naps and such. We were trying to get Everly to stay in her toddler bed but when we first made the switch it didn't go over so well. On this one particular day she was screaming and crying at her bedroom door and then all of a sudden she was quiet. We waited a few minutes longer and then opened the door and we saw this:
Our child covered up like the victim of some sort of domestic assault laying on her bedroom floor which just our legs showing.
Honestly it was all we could do to hold our laughter in. It was SUCH a funny sight and the fact she had to pull her blankets over her head made it all the funnier. If you could hear noises in pictures you would hear her pacifier clicking away under the blankets. It was SO funny. Seriously funny. I love my kid.
